1. Who we are and what this is
Recallab UG is a free website for practising NEET (UG) style questions. It is run by Auspec UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 07134027), The Lexicon, Second Floor, Mount Street, Manchester M2 5NT, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). Contact: support@recallab.com.
2. Who may use Recallab UG, and the sign-up declaration
To sign up you must tick this box:
"I am 18 or older, or I am under 18 and my parent or guardian knows I am using Recallab and has agreed."
If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must know that you are using Recallab UG and must have agreed. By your tick, you are saying that this is true. A parent or guardian who has agreed accepts these terms and our Privacy notice on your behalf. If you are 18 or over, you accept them for yourself. Do not tick the box if it is not true.
We do not check the tick; we rely on your word. A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to close the account and delete the data, by emailing privacy@recallab.com (see the Privacy notice). We may close an account if we learn that the declaration was not true.
3. Your account
- Choose a nickname; do not use your real name, phone number, school or any detail that identifies you. We may change a nickname that does.
- Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
- One account for one person.
4. What Recallab UG is, and is not
- Recallab UG is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the National Testing Agency (NTA) or the NEET (UG) examination.
- The questions are written by us for practice. They are not questions from any real exam and we do not say they will appear in an exam.
- We work hard to be accurate, but we cannot promise a mark or a rank. Use your textbooks and your teachers too.
- Nothing here is medical, career or counselling advice.
5. Wellbeing
Preparing for an exam is stressful. If you are feeling overwhelmed, you can call Tele-MANAS on 14416 (free, 24 hours, India).
6. Use it fairly
Do not: copy, scrape or share our questions or answers in bulk, including onto Telegram, WhatsApp groups or other websites; try to break or overload the site; use another person's account; post anything harmful, rude or unlawful; or try to find out who another learner is. We may stop access if these terms are broken.
7. Free service, no payments
Recallab UG is free. We do not take payments on Recallab UG. If we ever add paid plans, these terms will be updated first and a parent or guardian will need to be the buyer.
8. Our rights in the content
We own, or have permission to use, the questions, explanations and pictures. You may use them for your own study. You may not copy or sell them.
9. Your data
We handle personal data as set out in our Privacy notice. In short: no ads, no tracking, nickname only, and a parent can have everything deleted.
10. If we change or stop the service
We may change or stop Recallab UG, or these terms. For changes that matter we will put a notice on the site first, and email learners. We may delete accounts that have not been used for 12 months, after a warning by email or a notice on the site.
11. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited, including consumer rights. Apart from that, we are not responsible for a result you do not get, for loss we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for the site being unavailable now and then.
12. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and nothing here takes away the protection of consumer law in the country where you live. To complain, write first to our grievance officer: grievance@recallab.com, Grievance Officer, Auspec UK Ltd, The Lexicon, Second Floor, Mount Street, Manchester M2 5NT. We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within one month.
